1/2 cup castor sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 3/4 cups self raising flour
3/4 cup chopped red glace cherries
1/2 cup choc bits
1) Beat butter, sugar and egg until light and fluffy. Stir in sifted flour, cherries and chocolate bits.
2) Drop 2 level teaspoons of mixture together onto greased oven tray.
3 Repeat with remaining mixture, allowing about 3 cm between cookies.
4) Bake at 180C for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on trays.
