Blackberry Breeze recipe

1 cupboiling water
6 blackberry flavored tea bags
1/2 cup pineapple juice
8 ozcrushed pineapple undrained
1/3 cup sugar
18 ice cubes

1. In a teapot, pour boiling water over tea bags; cover and steep 5 minutes.

2. Remove bags. Chill tea. In a blender, process the tea, pineapple juice, pineapple and sugar until smooth. Add ice cubes, one at a time, processing after each addition until blended.


  • 150 g punnet blackberries
  • 250 ml (1 c) lemonade
  • 125 ml (1/2 c) raspberry cranberry juice
  • Crushed ice, to serve
Place the blackberries in the bowl of a food processor or the jug of a blender and process until pureed.  You can mash them by hand if you have no machines!  Strain through a fine sieve into a jug or bowl.
Stir in lemonade,  raspberry cranberry juice and lots of ice until combined.

p.s. for punch can add soda water

Watermelon Breeze (non alcoholic)

serves 4
  • 400 g seedless watermelon, chopped (to give about 2 1/2 cups)
  • 60 ml (1/4 c) lime juice
  • Ice cubes, to serve
  • 250 ml (1 c)  pink grapefruit juice
  • 250 ml (1 c) tonic water
Place the watermelon and lime juice in a blender and blend until smooth.
Half-fill 4 tall glasses with ice cubes. Divide the watermelon mixture and grapefruit juice among glasses and top up with tonic water. It’s nice to serve with some chunks of watermelon in the glass.

Cranberry Bomber recipe

Pour over ice and fill with cola. Stir and add honey. Garnish with a slice of lemon.


Mock Daisy Crusta Recipe

  • 1 1/2 oz lime juice
    1 oz sugar syrup
    1/2 oz raspberry syrup
    1/4 oz grenadine syrup
    3 oz soda water
Rim a wine glass with lime/caster sugar, add a spiral of lime, and fill with crushed ice. Stir lime juice and syrups together, and strain into the glass. Add the soda and sprinkle the grenadine on top.
